From residue to resilience
Every year, large quantities of Swedish sheep’s wool are produced as a by-product of meat and fur production. Although wool is a renewable, biodegradable and high-performance natural fibre, a significant proportion of it is currently used inefficiently or lacks sufficient market value. At the same time, the textile and furniture industries are facing increasing demands for circularity, resilience, traceability and reduced reliance on fossil-based materials.
We want to be part of this sustainable transition and contribute to a more resilient Swedish textile industry. We believe in a greater variety of fibre types and a wider range of Swedish-produced textile materials with a local and traceable value chain.
Our value chain is still under development
The fibres in our fabric come from wool sourced from central Sweden and Gotland, from sheep that are shorn twice a year. The wool is washed and semi-worsted before being spun into a two-ply yarn, which is then woven into fabric using a classic twill weave.
Our ambition is to gradually create a circular business model, transforming waste products into a viable business.
